DOT Inspections are just days away (May 12-14)!

The 72-hour International Roadcheck begins in just a few days. From May 12–14, DOT inspectors across North America will be conducting thousands of roadside inspections with a zero-tolerance policy for safety violations.

Tires are always a top target. Last year, tire-related issues remained a leading cause for placing vehicles Out-of-Service (OOS). One bald tire or a hidden sidewall bulge can sideline your truck and tank your CSA score.

Quick Pre-Check List:

  • Tread Depth: Minimum 4/32” for steers; 2/32” for all others.

  • PSI: Ensure all tires are at the manufacturer’s recommended pressure.

  • Condition: Check for cuts, exposed cords, or mismatched duals.
